American Indians may have access to special protections and savings when enrolling in health insurance through the Marketplace. Eligible members of federally recognized tribes can enroll in or change Marketplace plans once per month throughout the year, rather than waiting for the annual Open Enrollment Period. Depending on household income and eligibility, zero or limited cost-sharing plans may also reduce or eliminate deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance for certain covered services.

You can also maintain access to care through Indian health care providers while enrolled in a Marketplace plan.

Understanding these options, and determining which plans, cost-sharing protections, and potential premium tax credits apply to you, can be complicated.  We can help you understand your eligibility, compare available Marketplace plans, and find coverage that fits your health care needs and budget.
